LUCENA CITY – A “goto” (rice soup) vendor was shot and killed by an unidentified gunman alongside the freeway in Lopez city in Quezon province early Sunday.

Quezon police in a report stated Eduardo Capinig Jr., was aboard his motorbike and negotiating a bit of the freeway in Barangay (village) Tan-ag when he was repeatedly shot by a motorcycle-riding gunman at about 4 a.m.
